The key to get Emma crawling is quite literally keys! Ben and I have been trying for weeks to motivate Emma to crawl...we tempted her with snacks and toys, even demonstrated how to crawl, etc. But the only thing that worked were my keys! Here is a short video of Emma's first attempts to crawl.

I love the smile she gets at the very end. Its very "I did good!" For Allison, the first time she gavea real crawl (and almost there crawls) it was books that were motivating her. =)
That is awesome that she can crawl now, I can't believe how big she is getting! :D she looks so cute. I love your family pictures too! You have a beautiful family! Katie, that's so exciting! Crawling is always so fun. You always hear about the terrors that follow it, but I always loved it and never wished they weren't (except that I missed the baby time.)
I am so proud of Emma! She looks super cute crawling. I love her proud smile at the end! How exciting. I am excited to see her move around. It has been fun to watch her grow. I love your post that you just did today about your three fears, goals, obsessions, etc! I also love the pictures of Emma on Memorial Day. She looks super cute in the swimsuit. I am glad that you like it. I am sorry to hear that she didn't like the pool. It will be interesting to see how Lily reacts to the pool. It has been 8 months since she has been in one!
